Les Funambules was formed in February 2003 during the 53rd International Film Festival Berlin. It is based on an opened and flexible workshop of graphic designers, historians of art, journalists and other interested people which believe to find transcendent and archetypical values in daily events.

We consider the independent film production of Les Funambules as a personal answer for a lack of social criticism in media and individual work on feelings, dreams and experiences. This project is dedicated to all people who consider the desire for love, friendship and the interest for the poetics of reality as their own.
